Sexual Health Testing

The tests cover these key areas:

Blood samples to test for:

  • HIV 1 & 2

  • Hepatitis B

  • Hepatitis C

  • Syphilis

For Males - a urine sample to test for:

  • Chlamydia​

  • Gonorrhoea​

  • Trichomonas (may cause irritation & discharge)​

  • Gardnerella (can cause irritation, and also causes bacterial vaginosis in women)

For Females - a urine sample and a vaginal swab to test for :

  • Chlamydia​

  • Gonorrhoea​

  • Trichomonas (may cause irritation & discharge)​

  • Gardnerella (causes bacterial vaginosis)

  • Candida (also called thrush, a common fungal infection causing irritation & discharge)

+/- HPV cervical cancer smear test if indicated, at additional cost
