Dr Anshu Bohra

MD, MRCGP

Born and brought up in South Wales, I come from a family of doctors. My father is an ENT surgeon who then moved into General Practice, which is where I developed my passion for GP and the continuity of care and building long term relationships over time.

I completed my GP training in 2009 in Reading as part of the prestigious Oxford Deanery. I like to take a holistic approach to health, recognising the role of lifestyle factors in health and disease and working together with patients to achieve the best outcome.

I have extensive experience working in both rural and city practices and I complement my Private work with regular salaried sessions in the NHS.

I am fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi

I was very privileged to be appointed as one of the official Doctor’s for the Golden Eagle travel- Trans -Siberian express, undoubtedly one of the worlds greatest rail way journeys. Travelling from Moscow to Vladivostock was a wonderful experience dealing with a diverse range of people from all over the world .

Growing up in Wales I really enjoy spending time outdoors, so when not working I enjoy cycling and hiking, and generally keeping fit .
